One thing I'm grateful for is time spent making cookies with the kids. We have several holiday favorites, but this year we kicked off the season a bit early with a batch of Snowball Cookies. They were a huge hit, I don't think they lasted more than an hour between the six of us!
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
Powdered sugar
Heat oven to 325°F. Combine all ingredients except powdered sugar in large bowl. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl occasionally, until well mixed.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place 1 inch apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 18-25 minutes or until very lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes; roll in powdered sugar while still warm and again when cool.
sounds great, thanks carpediem5366 at yahoo dot com
